John Toepfer
President
Born and raised in New England John Toepfer opened Brick House Tile in 1984 with his mother Alice. John came from a remodeling career specializing in older homes. He discovered that finding ceramic tile in northern New England was next to impossible so most of the tile used in his projects was brought to New Hampshire by Alice from Ohio. Alice and John discovered a need in their community and decided to open a tile store. They worked together for ten years before Alice retired. John continued to bring in tile from around the world and in 2010 purchased and produced the hand crafted Cider Press Tile line in Keene NH.
Lisa Jacob
Showroom Manager
Originally from Massachusetts Lisa joined Brick House Tile in 2005 and became an indispensable member of the team. She is the stores backbone and keeps all the elements of customer service together.
Jan D’Alessio

Jan comes to us from many years in the jewelry business. Jan is able to utilize her experience with color, design and aesthetics and bring it to the world of tile; helping you find the perfect fit for your home.
Ken Walsh
Ceramicist
Ken has 25 years experience as a ceramicist and 10 years in hand crafted tile. He manages the Cider Press Tile line that is manufactured in the Brick House barn. His hands touch every tile that is produced here many times. He's happy to discuss the nuances of hand made tile and what to expect prior to ordering. He is also dedicated to quality and color so you can be sure you get what you ordered, something that is not easy in the hand crafted tile world.
